The Eräkeskus Wilderness Lodge & Huskyfarm is located in the municipality Nurmijärvi, about 35 kilometers northeast of Lieksa, 55 km east of Nurmes and only 15 km from the Russian border crossing Kivivaara.
The lodge was built in 1986 and is now under Swiss management. It serves as an ideal starting point for numerous summer and winter activities. cycling, hiking, canoeing and kayaking) and equipment rental (bikes, canoes, kayaks and SUP boards).
Our kitchen offers a delicious cuisine for our guests. We prepare 2 – and 3-course menus, adapted to the season, as far as possible with fresh ingredients from local farms.
